This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit typedm.com. The website is run by TypeDM (“we”). You can reach us at info@typedm.com.

The short version: this website has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools. We only keep what you choose to send us by email, and basic technical logs kept by our hosting provider.

  • Emails you send us. If you write to info@typedm.com we keep your message and your email address so we can reply and follow up. We do not add you to any mailing list without asking.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site secure and working. We do not use it to identify you.
  • Cookies. This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and does not use analytics.

Only to answer your messages, to keep the website secure and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Our social media accounts and publishing tools

We run accounts for our projects on social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. We use a scheduling tool, connected through the platforms’ official APIs, only to publish our own content to accounts that we own and manage. Through these tools we do not collect, store, sell or share personal information about other people who view or interact with our content. Anything you do on those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Links to other websites

This site links to services we do not control, such as itch.io, Google Play, the Apple App Store and BetaReadIt. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave typedm.com.

6. Sharing and storage

We share information only with service providers we need to run the website and email (for example our hosting provider), or when the law requires it. We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your request, and delete them on request.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it, by emailing info@typedm.com. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 where it applies. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

8. Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
